Object description
Object description
The Sapphire in Istanbul is the new pride of the city. Clearly visible from miles around, it soars up to 261 metres (including antenna) and is thus the tallest building in Turkey. But that’s not all, for the building has other qualities. Outwardly, two virtually opposing horizontal buildings come together and burst forth into the heavens. The new building is also the first eco skyscraper with the most environmentally friendly design in Turkey. Large vertical gardens have also been created inside the building designed by Tabanlıog˘ lu Architects in Istanbul, alongside vast malls and foyers. The absolute highlight is the lavishly decorated Hamam, which offers residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the delights of traditional Turkish bathing culture.
