Smart status information for Schüco PVC-U window, door and sliding door units

The Schüco wireless sensor connects windows, doors and sliding doors to modern Matter-based smart home systems, enabling automatic control – of ventilation systems or heating, for example – directly through the smart home system following the relevant status notification. With an active internet connection and a pre-installed smart home app, the user can be informed at any time about the open/closed status of the unit or the user can manually check this information themselves. The status is registered through a magnetic contact in the corner drive or locking bar.

The Schüco wireless sensor works on the basis of Matter, the common communication standard of leading smart home manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, Google, Amazon etc. This base enables the Schüco wireless sensor to communicate directly with various Thread border routers, such as HomePod, Nest Hub, or smart TVs. The Matter-based sensor uses the Thread network protocol: This Thread network is designed so that no additional network hardware is required, significantly increasing user-friendliness.

The Schüco wireless sensor is additionally equipped with a local, audible alarm function. Unauthorised opening of the unit is prevented by an acceleration sensor, which detects a mechanical break-in and sounds a loud alarm. Burglar resistance is thereby significantly increased. The narrow Schüco wireless sensor is integrated into the outer frame rebate and is therefore not visible when the unit is closed.

Thanks to its slim design, simple installation and intuitive commissioning and operation by the building owner, the Schüco wireless sensor is suitable for both new windows and retrofitting. It perfectly complements windows, doors, and (lift-and-slide) doors from our Schüco LivIng, Schüco FocusIng, Schüco Symbiotic, Schüco CT 70, Schüco LivIngSlide, Schüco LivIng move, Schüco FocusIngSlide, and Schüco EasySlide series.
