Schüco Balcony roofs
Balcony roofs extend the amount of use that can be made of balconies. When protected from wind and rain, balconies become an extended living room.
The highly thermally insulated window system, Schüco AWS 75 WF.SI+, has been specially designed, based on the Schüco block window for the economical manufacture of ribbon windows with storey-height glazing in a mullion/transom style, to meet the highest thermal insulation requirements.
Fabrication benefits
- Design options: gable roof, hip roof, hip roof with 135° corner and mono-pitch roof
- Types of glazing: with 8-10mm laminated safety glass or with 16mm twin-wall polycarbonate
- Supports can be attached to the edge profile on the outside, underside and inside
- Complete pre-assembly of the roof construction
- Easy sealing to building structure due to pre-assembled wall attachment profile (hook-on rail)
- Easy final assembly: hooking the roof construction onto the hook-on rail on site
