Build smart and make the most of funding

Whether it’s new windows, more security or barrier-free access: government grants are available for many building projects.

Greater comfort in the home – subsidised by the government

New windows and doors can improve the thermal insulation of your home, increase comfort levels and lower heating costs significantly. The government supports these measures through funding programmes in the form of subsidies or tax incentives. The type of funding available for your home depends on a number of factors. We help you keep track of everything and take the right next steps.

An overview of the subsidy options

Improve energy efficiency

By replacing windows, doors and façade units, heating costs can be reduced and living comfort can be increased in the long run. At the same time, this increases the property’s value and helps to protect the climate.

Providing barrier-free access

Conversion measures like threshold-free doors, wide passageways or easy-to-operate windows ensure increased convenience and accessibility for all ages. This allows people to continue living independently in their own homes, even with limited mobility.

Integrating sound reduction

Sound reduction windows and doors significantly reduce the transmission of noise from outside and create a quiet living atmosphere, especially in noisy locations. This increases quality of life, starting with restful sleep.

Burglar-resistant measures

Modern window and door systems increase protection against unauthorised access and ensure a secure home. Individual solutions can be adapted to different security tests.

Did you know?

In order to be eligible for funding, your new windows and entrance doors need to meet specific U values for energy efficiency. For windows, the maximum U value is 0.95 W/m²K, while for entrance doors it is 1.3 W/m²K. Our products fulfil these requirements and our partners can support you in applying for KfW or BAFA funding.

Calculate potential energy savings

Old windows and entrance doors are often the weakest points of your home. They allow a great deal of heat to escape and drive up energy costs unnecessarily.

Modern windows reduce heat loss by up to 80%. At the same time, you can benefit from government funding:

  • Up to 20% funding for energy-efficient windows*
  • Subsidy of up to 15% for new entrance doors*

Replacing your windows therefore pays off twofold: through lower energy costs and attractive subsidies.

* Actual funding amounts depend on your plans, the site conditions and the current subsidy requirements.
