Connecting two central underground lines, the STC Metro Station forms an urban hub in the heart of Riyadh. The station extends over four levels and reaches depths of up to 30 metres. From the outside, it looks like a massive slab of rock that has been lifted out of the ground – a deliberate reference to the striking limestone formations of the Tuwaiq Mountains, which stretch along the steep slopes outside Riyadh.
