Museum newbuild from Renzo Piano

The Istanbul Modern Art Museum has found a new home at the historic harbour in Istanbul. Renzo Piano's design is reminiscent of a ship's hull and seamlessly blends into the maritime surroundings. The scaly, metallic façade reflects light, while the transparent ground floor allows plenty of light to enter.
