Schüco Sun Shading System AB ZDS in front of Schüco Sliding System ASE/AS

SPOTLIGHT ON

Product highlights

We are setting the benchmark for healthy, smart and secure building with outstanding, pioneering solutions. For our AB ZDS sun shading system in front of Schüco ASE/AS sliding systems this means:
1
Uniform face width with flexible design options
2
Linear integration for large-scale sliding systems
3
High wind stability

External, forward-mounted textile sun shading with a high level of wind stability

Schüco AB ZDS (Aluminium Blind Zip Design Screen) is an external, forward-mounted textile sun shading system that offers a modern, two-dimensional design and convenient shading solutions for the Schüco ASE 60, ASE 80.HI, ASE 67 PD and AS PD 75.HI sliding systems.

The sun shading blends in perfectly with the design of the sliding systems thanks to the minimal face widths of the guide tracks. Whether in the visible or plastered-in design option, the smooth fabric appearance and cube shape create a harmonious look for the building envelope. The wide range of fabric types and colour options allows the sun shading to be individually customised and contributes towards the architectural building design.

Thanks to the high level of transparency, the link to the outside world is retained for the user (depending on the chosen textile and fabric openness coefficient) even when the sun shading is fully closed. This applies just as equally to days with strong winds.

The zip guide enables full, attractive shading of sliding systems with a maximum area of 18 m². For large-scale sliding systems, an additional, slimline design double guide track makes multi-part sun shading units possible and allows individual blinds to be controlled separately.

Planning benefit

  • Seamless, linear integration in the Schüco ASE 60, ASE 80.HI, ASE 67 PD and AS PD 75.HI sliding systems
  • Modern, two-dimensional design with a smooth fabric appearance and minimal face widths of the guide tracks
  • Outstanding sun shading thanks to external, forward-mounted installation with transparency to the outside
  • High wind stability up to 25 m/s (force 9 to 10 on the Beaufort scale) thanks to zip technology
  • Additional slimline design double guide tracks for multi-part sun shading units with optimum face widths for the sliding systems
  • Excellent views to the outside, glare protection and screening – dependent on the transparency of the fabric.
  • Weather-resistant, low-maintenance and low-flammability textiles (class B1)
