Security and design perfectly combined

With the trend towards floor-to-ceiling window units, demand for safety barriers is also increasing. To supplement its PVC-U window systems, Schüco has therefore developed three new solutions: a bar safety barrier, a glass safety barrier and the combined version made from bars and glass.

The transparent, almost completely concealed glass safety barrier allows an unobstructed view to the outside without compromising the harmonious external appearance of the façade. If design features are to be created in the façade, then the bar safety barrier is the right choice: the flexible choice of distances between bars, as well as the possibility of using and combining round tubes and bars with different diameters, opens up a wide range of design options. Another way of creating individual façade accents is to combine the glass and bar safety barriers. All pilaster, carrier, and edge protection profiles are available in EV1 as standard. Depending on the requirements, the profiles can also be adapted to the individual colour of the window unit in all RAL and anodised colours as well as wet paint coatings.

The Schüco safety barrier is suitable for newbuilds and modernisation projects – particularly in public buildings such as schools or nurseries.
