The high-security elements are fabricated by the Sälzer team in Germany and shipped direct to your factory or to site, so you can focus on manufacturing the Schüco systems.

This pre-fabricated option now means you can easily offer clients the full package, whether it is large sections of façade or only a small section that needs to be blast, bullet or burglar resistant. It also helps to deliver projects even when production capacity is stretched as the units get delivered pre-fabricated.

Sälzer’s product range goes beyond doors, windows, and façades. For those projects requiring the highest level of security, clients will be able to source guard houses, perimeter security, security grilles and more from one supplier. 

A core selling point of Sälzer systems is that security requirements can be combined in one cohesive façade. A highly burglar-resistant façade, for example, can be built to be bullet or blast-resistant in some areas, or it can provide equal protection against all three threats.

Not only does the system allow different requirements to be met but there are no sight-line differences when transitioning between the high blast resistance façade to low blast resistance façades. What's more, the high-security façade can be seamlessly combined with a section of the façade that does not provide any protection.

This uniform design has been achieved through our close collaboration with Sälzer from the planning and development stages.

Through the combination of Schüco and Sälzer systems, fabricators can be confident that they are supplying the best of design and performance. Something often overlooked in the design of high-security façade elements is performance for other factors such as thermal efficiency and weathertightness.

This collaboration eliminates that issue, offering the usual exemplary thermal and weather performance of Schüco systems as well as Sälzer’s uniquely robust resistance to high-security threats. Clients can deliver buildings that are both comfortable for occupants and highly secure.

Schüco has its own comprehensive testing schedules for all its systems and similarly all Sälzer designs are thoroughly tested and certified by independent institutes, often far beyond the standard requirements.
