Schüco IoF ID

With Internet of Façades (IoF) and the IoF ID, Schüco transforms windows, doors, façades, and sliding systems into components of digital building envelopes. Each building element is assigned its own digital identity through a small identification plaque. All data, information, documents, and service notifications related to an element are stored digitally and remain accessible throughout the entire lifecycle of that element. The IoF ID can be integrated into aluminium, PVC-U, or steel systems, including as a retrofit solution.

Low maintenance and easy retrofitting

The IoF ID provides access to material and maintenance data and can support documentation processes, for example for declarations of conformity or as part of building documentation. With the IoF App, information can be accessed directly at the building element. The IoF ID also provides an overview of the installed element and its maintenance history, including remote access.

The IoF ID supports return-oriented projects and façade development initiatives. It can help reduce maintenance effort, enable more efficient integration of subcontractors, simplify the retrofitting of existing elements, and provide an overview of the constituent materials at the end of the product lifecycle.
