The Schüco Technology Center is one of the most efficient testing centers for building envelope elements in the world. At the beginning of every product development at Schüco, new systems, individual components or special solutions are tested and optimized.
World champion testers
The more than 40 colleagues in the technology center carry out over 1,200 tests every year - including on special designs. In order to pass on the knowledge in the area of windows and facades that has been built up over decades, the technology center cooperates with the Schüco training company with a 550 square meter training workshop for dual students..

Accreditation
The Technology Center is also a first port of call for our partners when it comes to project-specific tests – something that is unique in the industry. It has been accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) as an impartial test center with worldwide recognition since 2005. All tests and services are carried out with the required neutrality. Trust and impartiality – even with regard to Schüco – are the most important cornerstones for guaranteeing trustworthy and reliable results for our clients.
In accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, the Technology Center is authorised to perform the following: mechanical, thermal and acoustic tests on windows, façades, doors and accessories, environmental tests on technical products, as well as tests for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
