Concealed 90-minute fire protection for external use

Schüco FireStop ADS 90 FR 90 (Aluminium Door System Fire Resistance) is a high-performance fire door, which meets the highest safety requirements with 90 minutes of fire resistance and, at the same time, sets new standards in terms of design and functionality.

Uniquely elegant, thermally broken fire-resistant constructions are possible thanks to maximum flexibility with planning and design. The narrowest profile face widths enable maximum transparency. Integrated closers, concealed door hinges and elegant fire-resistant constructions create a streamlined appearance. Glass or panel infills can also be used.

As part of our fire door system for up to 90 minutes of fire resistance, this door now has the latest CE classification for external use: FireStop ADS 90 FR 90-CE. With this significant addition, the FireStop platform ensures maximum safety across the entire building – inside and outside for up to 90 minutes of fire resistance. Its performance properties also set new standards for doors in exterior applications. The system, which is classified in accordance with EN 16034 and EN 14351-1, impresses with excellent watertightness, low air permeability, high wind resistance and an outstanding thermal insulation value. A particular highlight is the extreme durability of the system. Achieving Class 4, it meets the highest category for mechanical strength in accordance with DIN EN 1192 for use in areas subjected to particularly high loads.

Thanks to the innovative fire-resistant insulating mat and the new Schüco Flam 90 L fire-resistant glass, Schüco FireStop ADS 90 FR 90-CE is one of the most lightweight 90-minute doors on the market. With a 10 mm reduction in glass thickness, the new fire-resistant glass weighs approximately 40 percent less compared to the previous fire-resistant glass (from 82 kg/m2 to 48 kg/m2).
