Dynamic unitized façade with sustainable greenery and a high degree of design freedom

The Schüco AF UDC 80 Green Façade is part of the Cradle to Cradle-certified Schüco AF UDC 80 system platform for aluminium unitized façades.

The project-specific green façade has a sustainable, positive impact on the environment and on the quality of life in towns and cities. It also offers a wide range of designs with different plants and system structures.

Green façades are beneficial for buildings and their inhabitants/users too, as they provide protection against the weather, such as wind, rain, hail and UV rays. The plants also improve thermal insulation and sound reduction efficiently, providing natural shading too.

In the green part of the AF UDC 80 Green Façade, the plants take root and grow in a fleece-based material filled with plant substrate which meets the highest safety requirements as it is a class A, non-flammable construction material.
