The Symbol Residence is a luxury residential complex in a prime location on the Mediterranean. The striking silhouette of the building is characterised by the terraces and verandas on all twelve floors. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide a degree of lightness, while the transparent central axis visually divides the complex into two separate buildings.

The main architectural feature of the building designed by well-known Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill († 14 January 2022) is its complex geometry: separate glass volumes that move in four directions within the space, a cascade of generous outdoor terraces and a hollow space in the centre that forms a “window to the city”. The building seems futuristic yet reminiscent of an 8-bit video game graphic – a typical feature of Bofill's residential complexes.
However, it's not just the view of the building that is so special, but the view from it is spectacular too. The generous terraces and balconies of the 27 apartments create a seamless connection between the living space and the coastal landscape, giving the residents the opportunity to enjoy the Mediterranean climate to the full. Large all-glass façades and Panorama Design sliding doors from Schüco enable maximum transparency and offer views of the deep blue Mediterranean Sea and the harbour city of Limassol.
