Protecting resources, ensuring increased value

The newbuild was designed in accordance with the principles of the Cradle to Cradle concept and received the DGNB Gold certificate. The building includes C2C certified window and façade systems from Schüco. The concrete floors consist of a BubbleDeck flooring system which is filled with recycled plastic balls in order to save concrete, make the structure lighter and thereby reduce carbon emissions. Other components, such as the sound reduction walls, paint and carpets, are also C2C-certified.

Schüco Carbon Control

Der "Europäische Green Deal" zielt auf Klimaneutralität bis 2050 ab und macht den CO₂-Wert von Gebäuden zum Hauptkriterium für Investitionen und Ausschreibungen.

Green atrium

The heart of the seven-storey office building is the green atrium. The generous and light-filled space, the chosen materials (e.g. fast-growing bamboo for the open staircase) and the abundance of plants create a natural room climate and a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The ground floor surrounding the atrium is accessible and open to the public and has various restaurants. The basement level houses an underground car park with 64 parking spaces, charging stations for electric vehicles and racks for around 120 bicycles.
