Internationalisation

2021 Schüco acquires a majority share in Alufit International Pvt. Ltd. and concentrates more on large façade projects for infrastructure and the commercial sector in India.

At the Schüco Campus in Bielefeld and beyond, modern working environments and innovative showrooms are established, which are centred around the benefits for employees and customers and lay the foundation for a successful future.

2022 The Schüco Campus in Bielefeld is completed. The new Schüco One company headquarters and the Welcome Forum are opened.

In May, Schüco Global Services KG is founded. The aim of the new company is to combine after-sales service with servicing and maintenance, to grow this area internationally and to support our partners with the increasing demand.

Circular economy and decarbonisation

2023 Schüco Carbon Control enables carbon to be reduced in all phases of the construction – from the planning, build and operation through to recycling. Investors, architects, fabricators and operators can therefore plan, control and monitor the carbon footprint of a building throughout its entire life cycle.

Schüco introduces lower carbon aluminium grades and, subsequently, lower carbon PVC-U grades.

2024 The science-based climate protection targets of the company (medium-term and net-zero) are verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

2025 With Schüco Value Up, construction projects in existing buildings can be carried out systematically, sustainably and in a way that enhances their value. This project-specific approach for the renovation of the building envelope provides all project stakeholders with greater certainty and predictability throughout the entire process.

In order to offer investors a complete range of solutions for renovating building envelopes, Schüco expands its portfolio and acquires a stake in Asset Transformation GmbH, a subsidiary of Priedemann Holding GmbH.

Schüco wins the "Construction Industry Company" category at the 2026 German Sustainability Awards. A panel of experts recognises the holistic sustainability strategy with its clear climate targets and eco-friendly product development strategy.

2026 Schüco celebrates its 75th anniversary.
