Vertical urban forest

The large balconies are especially eye-catching and sit partly exposed to the open air thanks to the double-helix construction (each storey is rotated by 4.5° to a total of 90°). The 20,000 trees and bushes that have been planted can grow and thrive here. The greenery not only contributes to the building's impressive appearance, but it also helps to improve the air quality and regulates the temperature inside the building.

Reduced energy consumption

Aside from the ample greenery, the building has a number of other innovative ecological functions, including regenerative lifts that generate energy as they move and solar collectors on the roof. All of the water that is used in the building is recycled and reused. There is also a vertical waste water treatment system. All of these features contribute to making Agora Garden one of the most sustainable buildings in the world.
