Combined burglar, bullet and blast resistance for maximum security requirements

The S2es-d series aluminium high security door stands for versatile, inter-compatible burglar, bullet and blast resistance up to the highest resistance classes.

The system successfully withstood break-in attempts with high-performance power tools (e.g. jigsaw and angle grinder) up to class RC 5, ballistics tests with rifles and armour piercing ammunition up to the highest class FB7-NS, and blast resistance tests with up to 500 kg of explosives.

The construction was tested as a complete door unit including glazing and wall attachment.

In the SÄLZER® SYSTEM, the doors can be combined and integrated with all window and façade systems. This guarantees complete burglar, bullet and blast resistance up to the highest resistance classes.

The aluminium door with maximum thermal insulation stands for sophisticated designs and design freedom. It is available as a single and double-leaf design option with sidelights and/or toplights for individual solutions and installation situations, and to meet architectural requirements.

The aluminium construction offers maximum security against criminal activity and terrorist attacks.

Identical profile face widths guarantee a visually neutral and uniform appearance. The security components are integrated in the profile core so that no additional profiles have to be fitted from the outside.

Planning benefit

  • The aluminium door construction has been tested and certified in accordance with DIN 1627-1630 (burglar resistance), DIN EN 1522-1523 (bullet resistance) and DIN EN 13123-2 (blast resistance). The door has also been tested with up to 500 kg of explosives
  • Tested as an inward and outward-opening door option in burglar-resistant, bullet-resistant and blast-resistant constructions
  • No screw fixing required for the glass retention beads, so no impact on appearance
  • Various design options tested
  • Always identical face widths, even with different resistance classes and combinations
  • Natural glazing rebate ventilation and controlled drainage as no bonding is required for the glass
  • High security doors tested in accordance with the structural performance properties of DIN EN 1435-1 and CE certification
  • Hinges adjustable in 3 dimensions for leaf weights up to 400 kg (resistance to repeated opening and closing: 200,000 cycles), tested up to 800 kg with ground pivot bearing
  • Triple insulating glass possible due to basic depth
  • Tested with a wide range of locking systems: mechanical, electromechanical or electric locks, single or multi-point locking and self-locking. Tested with emergency exit locks in accordance with EN 179 and panic locks in accordance with EN 1125 in the glazed door option for burglar resistance up to RC 4 (glazing with special polycarbonate layers)
