The all-glass balustrade with maximum safety

The Schüco AR FG 300 balustrade system combines the elegance and aesthetic of an all-glass solution with simple fabrication and installation. It also functions as a safety barrier.

The Schüco AR FG 300 can be installed on the floor, in front of the intermediate slab or recessed into the floor. The latter in particular supports a minimalist design by focusing on the glazing, and ensures exceptional visual continuity and transparency.

For the other two options which have visible aluminium profiles, separate cover profiles provide a choice of different surface finish designs and colours for the outside and inside, so that the product can be fully integrated into the surroundings.

The innovative system for aligning and locking the glazing in place enables full installation from the inside, which guarantees a high degree of safety for the installer as well as fast and easy installation.

The Schüco AR FG 300 meets the latest safety regulations and is suitable for use in residential construction, public and private offices and buildings.

Planning benefit

  • The Schüco AR FG 300 meets the latest standards and requirements for safety barriers:
  • In accordance with the German standard DIN 18008-4, a general building authority test certificate has been obtained, which is complemented by structural calculations for transom loads of up to 2.0 kN/m
  • In accordance with the Italian standard UNI 11678:2017, with resistance of 3.0 kN/m for SLS (4.5 kN/m for ULS) the Schüco AR FG 300 is suitable for all applications
  • The different installation options (surface-mounted, recessed and forward-mounted) allow all usage requirements to be met flexibly
  • Separate cover profiles allow dual-colour solutions or different-coloured surface finishes for inside and outside to be created. This also avoids scratches and damage to during transportation and installation of the balustrade
  • The square handrail profile and the slimline edge protection with its slender, lightweight design offer additional aesthetic options
  • The innovative glass alignment and locking system with an angle of ±1.5° enables the glass panes to be perfectly aligned with a simple adjustment device. The new special Schüco installation tool makes this step quick and easy
