Smooth, quiet and energy-efficient

Sunlight revitalises you and transmits a feeling of wellbeing. It can be utilised to the full with sliding and folding sliding doors made from aluminium. Thanks to the extremely high level of stability of aluminium, buildings can be designed with narrow profiles and particularly large areas of glass, providing maximum transparency and light penetration.

Aluminium: a natural raw material that is highly durable.

Aluminium sliding and folding sliding systems from Schüco impress with their versatility. Whether they are used outdoors as spacious openings for terraces and balconies or indoors as transparent room dividers, they make a statement. Energy efficiency, fittings and high-quality design are a given – and, in terms of individual solutions, the sliding and folding sliding doors fulfil every requirement.

Energy

Constant room climate

Sliding and folding sliding doors must meet high requirements in terms of thermal insulation – especially if large constructions are required. This creates a high level of comfort in your home by maintaining a constant, agreeable room climate, whilst also saving valuable energy and preventing high costs. And this is not only on cold days, but also in summer when the heat stays outside and the cost of air conditioning can therefore be considerably reduced.

Design
Minimalist design

By using concealed outer and vent frames in the wall and ceiling, as well as minimal profile face widths and installation depths, the visual components of the sliding door are reduced to a minimum, without having to sacrifice flexibility in terms of opening types and surface finishing. When open, the all-glass corner virtually dissolves into the building. In combination with the pocket door design, in which the open sliding vent disappears into the outer wall, the sliding system vanishes completely into the background, leaving only the pure panorama.

Comfort
Intelligent drive technology

For added convenience and security, Schüco aluminium sliding doors can be controlled individually by connecting them to the building management system and can react intelligently to the environment. The concealed drive technology ensures a pleasant room temperature and has benefits for your personal wellbeing.
