Compliance at Schüco

At Schüco, compliance is an integral part of responsible corporate governance. The global Compliance Management System (CMS) ensures that legal requirements, internal guidelines and ethical standards are adhered to worldwide, thereby forming the basis for sustainable business success and the trust of customers, partners and employees.

Our understanding of compliance

Schüco’s CMS is based on a shared understanding of values and clearly defined structures. The globally applicable Code of Conduct forms the basis for lawful and ethical conduct in day-to-day business. At the same time, global standards are supplemented by regional compliance structures to ensure that local requirements are effectively implemented.

In terms of content, the Schüco CMS follows the established three-pillar model:

  • Prevention through clear guidelines, training and effective risk management

  • Detection through whistleblowing schemes, audits and reporting mechanisms

  • Response through thorough investigation, corrective measures and continuous improvement

This systematic approach ensures that compliance risks are identified at an early stage, addressed and reduced in the long term. At the same time, the CMS strengthens the compliance culture across the entire Schüco Group and embeds the so-called ‘tone from the top’ as a key success factor in all organisational units

“For us, an effective Compliance Management System is more than just a set of rules – it is an expression of our corporate culture. Only by practising integrity and responsibility worldwide can we build lasting trust and secure our business success.”
