First climate neutral police building

In the Korsningen district in the centre of the Swedish city of Örebro, the world's first climate-neutral police building has been constructed and certified in accordance with the NollCO₂ certification of the Sweden Green Building Council (SGBC). The certification states that the building will have net zero carbon emissions throughout its life cycle. The climate debt incurred during construction will be compensated for through a reduction in resource consumption in the existing property portfolio, for example.

Cradle to Cradle certified façades and doors

Using the Schüco FWS 50.SI mullion/transom façade, Schüco is also introducing its contribution to ecologically sustainable products in the building. The system has been awarded the Silver Cradle-to-Cradle sustainability label by the independent C2CPII institute in cooperation with EPEA in Hamburg for its recycling properties and minimum toxin content. Likewise, the Schüco AD UP 90 door system installed is also Cradle to Cradle certified, with the highest energy efficiency as well as excellent insulating and sealing properties.
