Conversion of a listed police station

The existing police station in Hamburg-Altona was remodelled based on the desires and needs of the federal police. One of the biggest challenges was the preservation order: neither the stairwells nor the façade were allowed to be altered. However, this hurdle was overcome and so emerged one of the most modern federal police stations in Germany, which is equipped with high-quality security windows and steel security doors, among other things.
