Conversion and renovation of the central library

Mönchengladbach's central library has been modernised in line with its listed building status and extended both above and below ground in order to implement a new usage concept. For this project, the city of Mönchengladbach and architectural practice Schrammel from Augsburg jointly received the Linker Niederrhein 2024 architecture award.
