Project details

The new Scotts Sports headquarters catches your eye with its dynamic aluminium façade. The triangular shading units open and close depending on where the sun is. Rounded corners and a wave over the main entrance create additional movement. The ground floor is set back slightly from a façade, which is made from tintable, electrochromic glass. In the centre of the building is the full-height atrium with an open staircase. The top floor contains the office spaces, while the meeting and communication rooms are arranged around the atrium. Their floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to see the activity within the building. Above the vertical timber slats and rough concrete floor, the glazed roof creates a lively interplay of light and shadow. Design features are added by means of the various black elements such as spandrels and the Schüco Fire Stop ADS 90 FR 30 fire doors, which secure all escape routes. They blend in with the design concept with their pared-back look and concealed fittings.

As an all-round fire protection system for door and fixed glazing constructions, Janisol 2 EI30 (T30/F30) combines the highest in building safety standards with optimal design freedom.

VISS Fire

Flexible fire-resistant façade – maximum security with an attractive design

VISS Fire is the steel profile system for all standard fire-resistance classes, which also allows attractive façades to be created flexibly without compromising on security or design.

The fire protection system can be freely combined with standard VISS façades – with a consistent, uniform look thanks to identical façade elevations.

Slimline face widths with large areas of glass provide maximum light penetration and the highest level of transparency.

The system is designed for vertical façades in all tested fire resistance classes for internal and external use (E30/60/90, EI30/60/90), and approved in combination with Janisol 2 fire doors for internal use.

FireStop ADS 90 FR 30

Excellent design combined with proven fire protection for 30 minutes of fire resistance

The Schüco FireStop ADS 90 FR 30 fire door is part of the Schüco FireStop system platform and offers an attractive fire door and wall range, tested in accordance with EN 1634/EN 1364 and DIN 4102 for 30 minutes of fire resistance.

The thermally broken fire-resistant construction with a basic depth of 90 mm is distinguished by its unique elegance: extremely narrow profile face widths allow for the greatest possible transparency, while integrated closers and concealed door hinges impress with their minimalist design.
