Schüco Ventilation Vents AWS VV is available as opaque side-hung vents with face widths of 300 mm, 250 mm and 170 mm – with excellent weathertightness and sound reduction values even in extreme weather conditions thanks to the split insulating bar. With the comprehensive range of profiles in system basic depths of 65 mm to 90 mm, the side-hung vent solutions offer maximum flexibility in the system business.

Schüco AWS VV combines quick room ventilation with extensive architectural design freedom. The wide array of manual fittings solutions available has been expanded to include the mechatronic Schüco TipTronic equipment. In addition to the side-hung option, a bottom-hung solution is also now available. This means that Schüco has fulfilled the frequent request for a horizontal installation option for the ventilation vent as a "toplight".

With the mechatronic-opening Schüco TipTronic fittings solution, both automated night-time cooling and demand-driven, sensor controlled ventilation can be implemented. The use of the vents as "toplights" enables a large amount of air to be exchanged while maintaining a pleasant ambient air climate – an economical alternative or supplement to ventilator-controlled ventilation.
