Intelligent networking of the units in the building envelope: system platform for integration, control and monitoring of Schüco units.

Schüco Building Skin Control (BSC) is the solution for comprehensive communication, control and monitoring of Schüco building envelope units. As an intelligent, updatable system, Schüco BSC makes it possible to network the units with each other and with standardized building management systems. In addition to building management systems such as KNX or BACnet, Schüco BSC can be connected to the Schüco Cloud. This allows for a quick and active response to customer enquiries via remote access. The Schüco units can be controlled via Amazon Alexa* voice commands or using the Schüco BSC app. With the aid of the cloudbased dashboard, the status of maintenance intervals or events on the Schüco units can be displayed graphically for the fabricator*.

• Schüco automation products can be intelligently controlled: e.g. heating switch-off when windows or sliding units are opened or time or sensor-controlled night-time cooling via Schüco TipTronic SimplySmart units without additional air conditioning costs

• Installation of control components not visible, e.g. in the control cabinet

Automation

• Integration in other automation systems via gateways such as KNX can be implemented quickly and easily
• Schüco automation products can also be visualised, using the optional Schüco Automation App
• In future, opening units can be controlled centrally and based on sensors according to user-defined specifications: e.g. when the concentration of CO2 in the ambient air is too high or for closing the windows at set times after office hours

Security

• Monitoring of the closing of opening units including signalling or alarm signals
• Restrictions on use according to time or function-related specifications, e.g. prohibited opening of windows to the turn position or before / after set times
• Automatic closing in poor weather conditions, e.g. rain or strong winds
