Added convenience for large window doors – tilt/slide system with easy-access threshold and convenient operation

The Schüco tilt/slide system solution as the perfect combination of window and sliding system can be tilted for ventilation purposes without having to fully slide open the system. The system optimisation is based on the tried-and-tested performance characteristics of the Schüco tilt/slide fittings and can now be designed with an easy-access threshold and new comfort components.

The focus is on two new developments: Simplified operation with added comfort, and heavier vent weights. By using a tandem carriage, it is possible to implement vent weights of up to 180 kg. To this end, for the first time at BAU 2017 Schüco is offering a mechatronic drive to support opening and closing (turning on and off). The vent is then fully slid open manually.
