The Schüco VentoTherm Twist is a decentralised ventilation system integrated into the window with incoming air, outgoing air and heat recovery, which can be used to reliably improve the air quality in rooms. The efficient system solution realised in cooperation with Renson© offers controlled, room-specific air exchange without opening the window. Due to the principle of heat recovery, the fans bring preheated fresh outdoor air into the room, which protects against draughts and the increased risk of catching colds, especially in the cold and wet autumn and winter months. Energy costs are reduced.

The surface-mounted motorized drive Schüco DriveTec can be retrofitted to almost all Schüco aluminium window systems with a side-hung, bottom-hung or skylight opening and up to a sash weight of 200 kg - without replacing fittings or sash frames. Schüco VentoAir regulates the necessary ventilation in residential properties, including dehumidification, without any intervention from users, thus enabling the prevention of expensive damage caused by mould, which is hazardous to health. The principle of the window rebate ventilator with self-regulating vent is based on the equalisation of the difference in pressure between outside and inside. In the process, the action of the fan is purely mechanical. In the event of high winds, the ventilator flap automatically regulates the inflowing air, thus preventing unpleasant draughts.

In such cases, a ventilation concept must be created in accordance with DIN 1946-6 to ensure high ambient air quality.
