Im Idealfall ist es so: Der Kunde stellt die Prüfmuster vor der eigentlichen Produktion in seiner Fertigung her und montiert sie mit eigenem Montageteam auf unserem Prüfstand. Das ist aber leider nicht immer möglich, weil die Vergaben an unsere Kunden häu- fig sehr spät erfolgen und die Produktion manchmal schon vor der notwendigen Prüfung begonnen hat. Häufig werden die Prüfmuster also aus der laufenden Produktion entnommen. Wenn wir dann die Dichtig- keit einer Fassade prüfen, prüfen wir neben der konst- ruktiven Qualität gleichzeitig auch die Fertigungs- und Montagequalität. Welchen Kontakt haben Sie zu den Architekten und Fachplanern? Die Planer und Architekten sind oftmals bei Haupt- prüfungen mit vor Ort. Normalerweise machen wir zunächst Vorprüfungen. Danach werden, wenn nö- tig, die Prüfmuster nachgebessert. Erst dann folgt die Hauptprüfung, bei der der Kunde selbst anwesend ist und zu der er u.a. oftmals den Bauherrn, den Archi- tekten oder Fachplaner einlädt. But at the end of the day it’s our job to find constructional faults from the outset. Taken from this perspective, developers generally forgive the faults.
