Wohnanlage LLUM

A blend of luxury and sustainability

The LLUM residential development in Curitiba, Brazil, is the first residential building in the country to receive LEED Gold pre-certification. Combining luxury with sustainability, an architecturally sophisticated project with 20 floors was built on one of the last free plots on the bustling Avenida Visconde de Guarapuava.

Comfort on every level

To maximise the comfort for residents without using air conditioning, particular attention had to be paid to the temperature differences in the region. In addition to thermal comfort and the use of solar energy, acoustic comfort also had to be taken into account by preventing noise from the street. The floor-to-ceiling glazing (TropTec AS 39 SC SF, TropTec AW 40 SF, FWS 50 SG, TropTec AW 64.NI, ASS 50.NI, ADS 50.NI, AWS 50.NI PASK Special) allows the rooms to be flooded with light. The glass building envelope looks like a sculpture in the cityscape.
