To improve the thermal and acoustic comfort in the halls and galleries of the building, a double-glazed wall was installed behind the existing glazing of the almost six-metre-tall façade. Janisol Primo profiles were used for this. To increase stability, these were reinforced with rear sulphur louvre blades. The gallery is partitioned into sections using a glass installation with VIXX Fire (EI60) and Janisol 2 profiles (EI30). This are equipped with hemispherical toplights that imitate the arch of the gallery. The glass units not only optimise fire protection, but also the indoor climate of the exhibition rooms.
