Schüco expands its electrical sales network
From October, Bielefeld-based building envelope specialist Schüco will be selling its innovative smart building solutions via electrical wholesaler Adalbert Zajadacz GmbH & Co. KG. In addition to window, door and façade systems, the Schüco portfolio also includes smart product solutions that are easy to install and can be retrofitted in the many existing Schüco products. After all, a smart building has to have a smart building envelope. And Schüco offers a wide range of smart door, smart window and smart air products for precisely that. The first to be sold by electrical wholesalers are Schüco Building Skin Control and the energy self-sufficient Schüco SensTrack wireless system for monitoring opening and closing. Both products are also being showcased by Schüco at the Light + Building trade fair in March 2022.
Smart products for residential and commercial projects
Schüco Building Skin Control (BSC) is a comprehensive platform for the communication, control and monitoring of Schüco building envelope units. Using the Automation Manager – the central control unit of the Building Skin Control system platform – up to 30 connected Schüco TipTronic SimplySmart aluminium windows can currently be intelligently networked with each other.
An open interface enables networking with conventional building management systems like KNX and BACnet. Commissioning and configuration are carried out simply via a laptop and the AET (Automation Engineering Tool) configuration software. External smart home systems, such as Gira, Amazon Alexa and the Schüco Building Skin Control app, can be used to control the system via a smartphone. Integrated sensor technology enables automated functions to be performed, such as time-controlled window ventilation or energy-saving night-time cooling for complete comfort. Flexible additional components can be used to connect extra sensors or switches, for example, to measure the temperature and air quality.
A further product that will be available from October from electrical wholesaler Adalbert Zajadacz GmbH & Co. KG is the energy self-sufficient Schüco SensTrack wireless system for monitoring opening and closing. This smart wireless sensor is compatible with many smart home systems and can be retrofitted to the 20+ million Schüco systems that are currently on the market.
