With this combination of a CNC machine and innovative robot technology from KUKA, the first step towards automation in fabrication is being made through robotics. Autonomous loading and unloading, fully automated cutting, and controlled processing of profiles make the RX LOAD 500 robot cell an essential component for your fabrication outfit. It optimises and speeds up the fabrication process. Delays can therefore be overcome and the entire production line can be harmonised.

Relief for employees

The RX LOAD 500 alleviates the workload for anyone carrying out physically demanding and time-consuming tasks, like loading the CNC machine. This gives qualified employees more capacity for complex, quality assurance tasks, for example, in installation.

Easy change guaranteed

It is also possible to switch between manual and safe automatic operation at any time. In front of the machine is a moveable rack with space for up to 24 bars – for storing profiles and finished components. The rack can be removed extremely quickly, turning the automated machine back into an original AF 500 CNC machine.

Can the robot be easily retrofitted to an AF 500 or AF 510?

Can the robot be easily retrofitted to an AF 500 or AF 510?

The robot cell can be easily retrofitted to an existing AF 500 or AF 510 CNC machine. The integrated control unit of the AF 500 and AF 510 simply requires an additional module called “Run My Robot”. The automated machine is very easy to use and only one piece of application software is needed: Schüco CAM. The upgrade also includes a safety fence which extends the small space required by the AF 500 and AF 510 by a minimal amount and thereby ensures risk-free automatic operation.



How do you load the rack?

The Schüco software SchüCam generates a loading list stating which profile is in which compartment. Your employees load the rack manually according to this list.

This solution has been specifically developed for and tailored to the Schüco AF 500 and AF 510. It is not compatible with other CNC machines.
