Use of cookies

In order to make visiting our website(s) more attractive and facilitate the use of certain functions, we are using so-called cookies on a variety of pages. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies that we are using are deleted again once the browser session has ended, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us or our partner companies to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept them or decide to exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or generally. If you do not accept the cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited. The Help function in the menu bar of most web browsers explains how you can stop your browser from accepting new cookies, how to notify your browser when you receive a new cookie and also how you can delete all of the cookies that you have already received and block any further cookies.

1. Required (essential, functional, indispensable) cookies that cannot be deactivated

Technically required cookies are needed so that Schüco's websites can work without problems. They cannot be deactivated. Without these cookies, certain parts of web pages or desired services cannot be made available. These cookies include session cookies and cookies that safeguard access to content or connected systems.

2. Statistical/analysis cookies

These cookies are used for statistical purposes in order to analyse the use of the website and to optimise our offering through the evaluation of campaigns we have carried out, for example. These cookies are used to improve the user-friendliness of the website and thus the user experience. They collect information about how the website is used, the number of visits, the average time spent on the website, and the pages that are called. These cookies help to identify the elements of our Internet offering that are used most frequently and enable the further development of the website in accordance with the needs of visitors. All of the information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If users do not allow these cookies, we cannot tell which web pages a user visited and how the pages performed during the user's visit.

3. Marketing/third-party cookies

Marketing cookies are used by third-party providers to display personalised and appealing advertisements for individual users. They do this by “following” users across websites. This also involves the incorporation of services of third-party providers who deliver their services independently.
