First climate neutral police building

In the Korsningen district in the centre of the Swedish city of Örebro, the world's first climate neutral police building has been built and certified in accordance with the NollCO₂ certification from the Sweden Green Building Council (SGBC). The certification states that the building will have net zero carbon emissions throughout its life cycle. The climate debt incurred during construction will be compensated for through a reduction in resource consumption in the existing property portfolio, for example.

Cradle to Cradle certified façade and doors

With the Schüco FWS 50.SI mullion/transom façade, Schüco is introducing its contribution to ecologically sustainable products to the building. Thanks to the recycling capability and the low toxin content, the system has been awarded with the Silver Cradle to Cradle sustainability award by the independent C2CPII institute in cooperation with the EPEA in Hamburg. Likewise, the Schüco AD UP 90 door system installed is also Cradle to Cradle certified, with the highest energy efficiency as well as excellent insulating and sealing properties.
