As part of the Schüco AWS system platform, Schüco AWS 70.HI (High Insulation) offers an attractive range of solutions with outstanding thermal insulation for the 70 mm basic depth.

It is based on the functional, energy-efficiency and design properties of the aluminium construction: perfectly tailored components combine benefits such as excellent thermal insulation values, narrow face widths and concealed, standard manual or electromechanical fittings for inward and outward-opening windows.

The high level of flexibility of the system enables a variety of uses to meet a range of different building envelope requirements: as a punched opening, ribbon window or façade insert unit, as well as in combination with Schüco door systems.

Self-regulating mechanical ventilator for the window rebate

The Schüco VentoAir ventilation system regulates the continuous air exchange in residential properties, without any intervention from users, thus enabling the prevention of expensive damage caused by mould, which is hazardous to health.

The principle of the purely mechanical ventilators is based on the equalisation of the difference in pressure between outside and inside.

In the event of higher wind speeds, the ventilation flap automatically regulates the inflowing air, thus preventing unpleasant draughts.

The system is integrated so that it is almost completely concealed in the area of the centre gasket – either horizontally at the top or in the outer frame rebate at the side.

The modular ventilation system offers flexible solutions with a variable number of ventilators – perfect for ensuring controlled air exchange that is adapted to suit the room use and that does not require user intervention. In this way, the residents and the building are provided with sufficient fresh air and mould growth is prevented.

Installation in the outer frame profile ensures almost fully concealed integration in the window unit.

Thanks to a self-regulating outer vent, the system responds independently to changes in wind pressure on and around the building, ensuring a continuous exchange of air without troublesome draughts.
