Double-glass technology for higher solay yields
The SchücoSol U.5 DG is a specially developed high temperature collector. Solar cooling installations require high temperature levels from the collector field. The consistent reduction in the front-side heat loss due to double glazing and a quadruple anti-reflective coating produce solar yields which are up to 29 % higher at peak operation than with Schüco Premium collectors.
Optimised hydraulics for large collector fields
A solar cooling installation unit with 15 kW cooling capacity requires approx. 18 double glazed collectors. When used in conjunction with suitable system hydraulics, the collectors quickly reach the necessary temperature. The optimised collection pipe meander combines excellent thermal transfer with the minimum loss of pressure of parallel switching.
