Building and energy management using the e-window system
People have a dinstinct need for fresh air, sunlight and comfortable temperatures. The e-window system is the key to increased well-being, optimum light conditions and natural ventilation within the building. With the e-window system, Schüco has taken up this concept of building and energy management and has developed an integral solution. e-window forms the interface to building management technology with the relevant BUS systems, such as EIB or LON. At field level, it serves to control the following components:

- Window drives for all opening types raise comfort levels and allow natural and automatic ventilation
- Window contacts for monitoring opening and closing, wind/rain and other sensors transmit information
- Solar shading through SunControl with e-sun for fully automated reaction to the movement of the sun offers the best possible shading and thus optimum light conditions in the building
With these components, Schüco is merging previously isolated systems into an integral unit in building automation.
