SCHUECO’S NEW PROSOL TF⁺ THIN-FILM PV IS 30% MORE EFFICIENT

In April 2012, a new brilliant-look, up-rated version of ProSol TF known as ProSol TF⁺, will be available from leading solar energy and building envelope specialist, Schueco UK Limited. Designed as a BIPV product, ProSol TF⁺ is an advanced, higher-efficiency thin-film PV module that produces a 30% increase in electrical output over conventional photovoltaic thin-film products.

The new generation of Schüco ProSol TF⁺ thin-film features an unprecedented energy balance and a dark, brilliant appearance. Due to its cell structure, the multi-layer thin-film module boasts a greatly improved degree of cell efficiency compared to conventional thin-film modules, thereby offering a higher solar output. The extra energy produced further improves the cost/performance ratio. New façade design options are also made possible.

NEW ‘FRAMELESS’ PANORAMIC SLIDING DOOR LAUNCHED BY SCHUECO UK

New from the UK's leading building envelope specialist, Schueco UK, is the ASS 77 PD, a range of motorised, 'panoramic' sliding doors offering varying levels of thermal insulation. Able to accommodate very wide openings with two, three or four leaves each up to 3.2 metres wide and 3.5 metres high, these premium doors are ideal for high-end residential and commercial buildings.

GOLD MEDAL WIN FOR SCHUECO JANSEN STEEL RENOVATION WINDOW

Janisol Arte, a highly insulated steel renovation window system launched by steel specialist Schueco Jansen in 2011, was awarded a Gold Medal for Innovation in the Joinery & Fenestration category at France's leading international construction exhibition, Batimat 2011. It also won a Bronze Medal for Design, both awards underlining its popularity with both architects and fabricators.
