SCHUECO’S LIBRARY OF BIM FENESTRATION OBJECTS IS UK’S FIRST

Leading building envelope and solar products specialist, Schueco UK, has announced another UK first – a library of aluminium fenestration objects developed specifically for use with Building Information Modeling (BIM).

The library includes windows, doors, sliding doors and sliding/folding doors. In addition, Schueco’s range of curtain wall profiles can be assigned to Autodesk Revit generic façade systems.

A GRAND OPENING FOR ALUMET GROUP’S HEADQUARTERS BUILT USING SCHUECO ERC 50 RENOVATION FAÇADE

The facade is a key element in any building refurbishment and building envelope contractor Alumet have practised what they preach by installing Schueco's new insulated renovation facade at their Warwickshire headquarters. 2011 Schüco Open

Duncan Grover tees off with world-class golfers

Düsseldorf/Essex. Schüco stands for clean energy from solar products and windows. The company is a global expert in solar solutions, windows, doors and façades. By organising the third Schüco Open from 30 to 31 July, Schüco once again made a highlight of the company’s commitment to golf. 12,500 avid spectators contributed a fantastic atmosphere on the second day of the 2011 Schüco Open at Hubbelrath Golf Club near Düsseldorf. At Germany’s biggest and most star-studded invitational tournament, Schüco brand ambassadors from all over the world and other famous professional golfers teed off with a selection of amateur golfers under the motto “Teeing off together on climate protection." Alongside the Schüco brand ambassadors Martin Kaymer, Henrik Stenson, Geoff Ogilvy, Bubba Watson, Ian Poulter, Dustin Johnson, Álvaro Quirós, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Grégory Havret, Edoardo Molinari and Liang Wenchong, seven Challenge Tour professionals took to the course and competed for the Schüco Winner’s Cup. In nine groups comprising four people, a total of 36 golfers put their talent to the test.

TESTS CONFIRM SCHUECO JANSEN STEEL DOOR IS TOP OF ITS CLASS FOR ENDURANCE

After successfully completing 1 million cycles during an independently staged endurance test, a Janisol door from Schueco Jansen has achieved Class 8, the highest standard for functionality and durability according to EN 12400. This top-of-the-league classification means that the Janisol thermally insulated glazed steel door is now officially confirmed as being 'Heavy Duty'.
