Schüco low-temperature collector for maximum solar yields

Schüco has developed an innovative low-temperature collector for operating a solar energy system in conjunction with the Schüco brine/water heat pump. This collector makes solar ground regeneration possible which ensures a permanently high level of efficiency of the heat pump.
By using small solar yields at minimum operating temperatures, the annual collector yield of 350 kWh/m2 can be increased to 700 kWh/m2.

Ground regeneration is direct heating of the ground using solar yields

In operating mode for solar ground regeneration, the heat pump fluid is fed from the ground into the solar collectors at approx. 6 ºC to 12 ºC Moisture can build up in the collector at higher outside temperatures, so conventional collectors are not suitable. The SchücoSol HP is designed so that moisture inside the collector does not affect the performance or the useful life of the collector.

Output values from day one

Using a Schüco solar energy system with low-temperature collector, solar yields can be fed into the geothermal probes in order to increase the ground temperature again. A Schüco heat pump with solar energy system therefore produces constant heat economically without any loss of efficiency.

The key benefits of the Schüco low-temperature collector

  • Innovative new development for operation with brine/water heat pumps
  • Solar yields even at low operating temperatures
  • Moisture in the collector has no effect on performance or useful life
