Solar domestic hot water with the hot-water heat pump

A hot-water heat pump that draws heat from the ambient air in the room where it is installed is particularly suitable for retrofitting a solar energy system for domestic hot water. In cellars and utility rooms in occupied buildings, the temperature level is above 10 ºC all year round. This temperature is sufficient to provide all the domestic hot water using a Schüco hot-water heat pump. The amount of energy required for domestic hot water can be reduced by up to 88%.
