Virtual Showroom
We spatially and interactively introduce to you the Schüco systems of windows, doors and facades.
Business customers
The CAD library gives you the option of downloading AutoCAD drawings in DXF and DWG format.
Software
Schüco UwCal
The software can be used to calculate the Uw values for a variety of window constructions.
Schüco Statics
This program estimates the required moments of inertia for non loadbearing components made from system profiles.
WindLoad
This program is designed to calculate the windload associated to a building as outlined in BS 6375-1:2004

Schüco system finish - Surface finish as showpiece
The surface finish has evolved from its original purpose of protecting mill-finish aluminium surfaces to become a distinctive design feature. The surface finish combines aesthetic appeal (from colour, decorative effects and overall impression, to corporate identification) with the requisite protection (separation of internal/external climate, rain protection and solar shading, as well as local environmental factors).
The “System finish” system module allows Schüco to support its customers and their clients in the following areas:
- Surface finish consulting (technology, prerequisites, implementation).
- Extensive, worldwide network of certified and supervised Schüco surface finishing partners.
- Sole logistics partner (untreated material and finished material from a single source).
- Guarantee for raw materials (profiles and sheet metal) and surface finishing as a single product unit.
- Another benefit is interim financing from Schüco: when you place an order for system finishing, Schüco only charges for the raw materials and surface finishing once the latter has been completed.
Selection criteria
The choice of a particular surface finish should therefore only be made after thorough consultation, during which the project requirements and ideas of the customer can be discussed and surface finish options, including possible colours and decorative effects, can be shown.
morePretreatment
The base character of aluminium means it reacts quickly with oxygen in the atmosphere to form a compact, resistant layer, which also contains other impurities from the surrounding environment.
morePowder coating
During the electrostatic powdering process, an electrical field is created between the powder and the material to be coated. The powder, interlaced with compressed air and electrically charged when it emerges, is drawn to the surface of the material to be coated through the different powder/material polarity.
moreAnodising
Anodising is an electrochemical process, in which the anodised aluminium substrate (for example, mill-finish profiles) is immersed in an aqueous, acidity-regulated electrolyte solution. On the aluminium contact surface, electrolyte solution produces an electrochemical reaction that ultimately leads to the formation of a defined aluminium oxide barrier layer.
moreLiquid paint
Liquid paints consist of binder, pigment and the necessary additives in organic solvents. For architectural applications, the choice of bonding agent base, polyurethane or fluoropolymers (PVDF, Duraflon), depends on the specific project requirements.
morePVC-U surfaces
The wide range of colour and timber finishes and the almost unlimited selection of RAL and anodised colours for aluminium cover caps provides numerous options for creating the right colour highlights for a particular project.
