Winner of the 2012 reddot design award
Schüco impressed the international jury of experts for the reddot award: product design 2012 with the design of their system solutions. The 2° System and the Schüco Door Control System (DCS) won the red dot design award. The new Schüco ASS 77 PD.SI sliding system was awarded the reddot: best of the best - the highest accolade of the largest design competition in the world. Creative individuals and manufacturers from across the globe submitted a total of 4515 designs for the renowned product competition.
Schüco solar systems:
Intelligent combination of heat pump and photovoltaics
Schüco increases the proportion of own power consumption in newbuilds by intelligently linking photovoltaic installations and heat pumps. The Schüco control unit ensures the highest possible consumption of your own power. The control unit decides when the solar electricity is used to power household appliances, in the heat pump for heating, cooling, or for hot water provision, or exported to the grid in the usual way.

Janisol Arte for the conservation of historical buildings
Slimline profiles for the sustainable renovation of buildings using steel. With a profile chamber of just 10 mm, the thermally insulated Janisol Arte profiles are the first choice for renovation projects in the industrial and loft glazing sector. Thanks to this new generation of profiles, a fine-lined framework can be created around the glazing, as is characteristic of factory buildings from the last century.

The new Brillux building, an office block with clean lines, forms the new entrance foyer and houses the conference rooms and offices. The tower dominates imperiously over the existing surrounding office buildings and distribution centre. Solid black façade units enclose a large, translucent, glazed façade field like a square bracket.

The highly integrated Schüco E² façade intelligently combines the building services with the building envelope using the modules for decentralised ventilation technology, high performance solar shading and solar energy generation.

With the new season just weeks old, two of the game's global stars have already confirmed their participation - Colin Montgomerie (Scotland) and Geoff Ogilvy (Australia).
