Collection of your personal data

When you visit our webpages, we generally do not require any personal data from you. This could concern information about Schüco products and services; participation in a competition, subscription to a newsletter; a specialist service from Schüco; registration for an event or training course; downloading/ordering Schüco products; and/or information relating to any of the above. The personal information collected by us could be your name, company, business email address, telephone number or address.

Note: Persons under the age of 18 must not provide us with any personal information without permission from a parent or guardian. We do not request any personal information from children or young people. We do not knowingly collect this type of information and also do not pass it onto third parties.

Use of your personal data

The personal data collected on this website is used exclusively to operate the website and to provide services or information requested or allowed by you.

If we use your personal data to provide you with information about Schüco products used by or of interest to you, then we do so only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time. In addition, we may also (of course only with your explicit consent) forward information to Schüco partners where appropriate, so that they can send you information you have requested about Schüco products.

Occasionally, Schüco contracts other companies to provide a limited range of services for Schüco. These services may include website hosting, answers to customer queries about products and services, sending information about Schüco products, special promotions etc. However, these companies are only given the information they need to provide the relevant services. They are obliged to treat your information as confidential and are not authorised to use the information for any other purpose.

Checking your personal data

Personal data that you enter onto the Schüco website will not be forwarded without your permission, unless we are legally obliged to do so.

You can conveniently contact us by email at any time at service@schueco.com to view the content of your declaration of consent or the data that we have saved about you. You can make amendments to this data or withdraw your consent on data use without incurring transfer fees at a rate higher than the basic tariffs. You can unsubscribe to the newsletter at any time by using the link at the end of each newsletter.

Upon your request, we are obliged to amend, block or delete any saved personal data about you, as long as other legal provisions to do not prevent this. Should you choose to withdraw your consent to data use, we can no longer offer you any services for which we require your personal data.

In order to manage the Schüco website effectively and to improve navigation, we or our service provider(s) use so-called cookies (small text files which are sent to the user's browser) to collect abstract usage data. We use cookies to find out user data such as their IP address, domain, browser type and pages visited on our website. The information collected is forwarded to our webmaster to ensure that our website remains a useful and effective source of information. There are no circumstances under which this data can be used to identify you personally.
