Schüco brand ambassadors to tee off in Hamburg
The fourth edition of the largest and most star-studded invitational tournament in Germany will be held on 28 and 29 July 2012 at Gut Kaden near Hamburg. Under the heading of “Celebrating the Art of Golf” Schüco will host a tournament in northern Germany for the first time. Golf fans can look forward to one of the season’s highlights next year, when the Schüco brand ambassadors and other golf professionals will tee off together once more on climate protection.

The chosen venue is a club outside Hamburg that has hosted large professional golf tournaments for a number of years. Many world-class golfers are very familiar with the Kaden course. Moreover, Hamburg has a very impressive 152 registered golfers per 10,000 inhabitants.
Explaining the reasons behind choosing Gut Kaden, Dirk U.Hindrichs, President and CEO of Schüco International KG, explained that, “The primary aim of the Schüco Open is to bring golf fans across Germany closer to this glorious game. That’s why, despite the terrific success of the 2011 Schüco Open at the Hubbelrath Golf Club in Düsseldorf, we have chosen a new venue that will allow even more fans the chance to see these stars live.”
