He has never had a golf lesson, does not have a coach working on his swing and uses a driver with a pink shaft. The left-hander from Bagdad, Florida is a natural athlete with a spectacular game that often leaves spectators speechless. When it comes to his ability to shape the ball with a draw, a fade, a hook or a slice and to select shots that others would not even contemplate, no-one can hold a candle to him.
In 2010, he celebrated his maiden win on the US PGA Tour at the Travelers Championship in Hartford, Connecticut.
He then contested his first WGC tournament, finished runner-up in the US PGA Championship and earned a place on the US Ryder Cup team for 2010. In 2001 at the Farmers Insurance Open, he beat local favourite Phil Mickelson to secure his second US PGA Tour event. Just recently, he landed his third title, winning a playoff to take the Zurich Classic of New Orleans
