Schüco congratulates its brand ambassador! Martin Kaymer has become the second German after Bernhard Langer to reach the top of the world rankings. The 26-year-old Kaymer is the second youngest ever world number one; only US superstar Tiger Woods achieved the feat at a younger age. His semi-final victory over American Bubba Watson at the WGC Match Play Championship in Arizona saw him overtake Lee Westwood at the top of the rankings.

Schüco aluminium system: ADS 65.NI
The Schüco ADS 65.NI platform has been enhanced and combines the benefits of proven fire and smoke protection systems with standard doors. Architects and clients can use ADS 65.NI for swing doors or all-glass doors with the same profile face widths. Burglar resistance can be implemented up to resistance class 2 with immediate effect. Fabricators benefit from having one profile and fittings platform for three systems, reducing storage requirements, whilst push-in fixings make assembly extremely simple.

Schüco solar energy system: HP Sol brine/water heat pump
Future-proof heating system without fossil fuels. The HP Sol brine/water heat pump combines a high level of efficiency with independence from fossil fuels. As a result of the option to combine solar with geothermal energy, it is possible to increase the coefficient of performance.

Schüco Jansen steel systems: Heavy duty Janisol doors
The new Janisol Heavy Duty (HD) doors from the Janisol system (Schüco Jansen steel systems) satisfy all the requirements for steel doors in the highest performance class.
The Janisol HD door (Heavy Duty) is installed in buildings with very heavy loads, such as shopping centres, restaurants, airports, hospitals, schools or office buildings. It was tested in accordance with EN 1191 and was opened and closed one million times. The system is classified as 8, the highest class of mechanical durability in accordance with EN 12400.
Janisol HD doors are fitted with tried-and-tested Jansen weld-on hinges.

Schüco PVC-U system: Schüco Corona SI 82
Corona SI 82, the high insulation PVC-U system, has been extended as part of completion of the product range around the 100 mm outer frame “19198”. The new outer frame is available immediately in all colours. The Schüco Corona SI 82 window system has three drainage levels and conventional steel reinforcement. Thanks to industrial fabrication and a very large range of profiles, they can now be used to build low-energy windows economically and to a high standard.

Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin
The Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin is the largest courts project undertaken in Ireland for over 200 years. The seemingly simple basic shape belies its enormous inner complexity. The main task for the architects was to separate the course of proceedings and circulation areas from one another, i.e. courtrooms, jury rooms, areas for the public etc.

World-class golf, precision and perfection
The third annual Schüco Open, the most star-studded and now fully established invitational tournament in Germany, will take place in the Düsseldorf area on 31 July 2011. At the 2011 Schüco Open, Martin Kaymer, golf’s new world number one, will be joined in the field by his fellow Schüco brand ambassadors as well as other familiar faces from the professional ranks, all competing for the coveted title.
