Review BAU 2011
At BAU 2011, the world´s leading exhibition in Munich, Schüco presented system solutions that can be used to create energy-efficient buildings in every climate zone in the world - from meeting national standards to achieving a positive energy balance. The Schüco Energy Network has three new energy classes to provide clear orientation when classifying these systems. All the Schüco systems belong to energy class E (saving energy), E2 (saving and generating energy) or E3 (saving, generating and networking energy) depending on their energy-efficient properties.
Architects, developers and fabricators from all over the world were impressed by the innovative exhibition concept. Experience a virtual tour of the Schüco exhibition stand on your iPad or in our web special, and learn about the product innovations that were showcased.

Schüco Modernisation Façade ERC 50
With the ERC 50 modernisation façade, Schüco presents a new façade system for efficient modernisation of existing buildings. The new aluminium system construction takes on all the important functions of a modern building envelope. Moreover, the holistic system approach allows for the energy-efficient renovation of façades with punched openings and ribbon windows. The modernisation process on the façade is completed across an external load-bearing structure, so that the interior rooms can continue to be used whilst work is carried out.
Schüco Thin-Film Module MPE in the BL 01 series
The new Schüco MPE thin-film modules in the BL 01 series (BL = Blackline Laminates), which are available in the output categories from 100 to 130 Wp, are characterised by their impressive performance and their high-quality manufacture.
Schüco Jansen steel systems: highly insulated, steel fire-resistant façade G30 with VISS Fire
The tried-and-tested steel fire protection system, VISS Fire, now also covers triple pane insulating glass with a fire resistance rating conforming to G30. Fire-resistant façades are therefore also able to achieve the Ucw values required in Germany and comply with the energy saving regulations.
